I have just tried this with Pokemon FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire and this is what I noticed:FireRed/LeafGreen-Boot times seems longer than the legit Ambassador GBA games. Click to expand. The issue to my observation isn't much of the rom, i just thing is the VC itself, not all games have compatibility to it since it only was designed to play a handful of games in mind, and pokemon SPECIALLY wasn't one of them, thus the same could be said for the boktai roms as well. The VC itself lacks proper emulation and that why only very few games are on GBA VC since it does only very basic emulation, not the advance emulation you would expect like VBA.I may be wrong in that statement but perhaps is possible to patch the rom to some degree to actually make it compatibile with VC but i doubt it and seem like just stabbing into darkness at this point. Without actually knowledge of what to do is unimportant.Still i like to mention that i tried Super street fighter 2 Turbo Revival and there is bugs in it, all the times in time attack were set to other records other than default record of 99:99:99 even before completetion, When i got up to fight akuma in arcade mode the game glitched and crashed. This is one of the games that needed save patch from the default sram. Just means not all games work on VC.
No Gba The 1m Sub Circuit Board Is Not Installed In Windows 10
If you have problems, just report it, and move on, cause is not the rom fault. I assume only games that don't need any modifications MOSTLY the save patch to sram from eeprom or whatever are the safeest to use, as Breath of fire 1 and 2 worked fine, metroid zero mission worked which did not need mods. Donkey kong country does work but maybe need save patches so is possible that only i played some and no issues but could be if more was played.Anyway just sharing some observations.
I actually think the real reason is VC games weren't designed to handle any rom over 4MB but again, just stabbin in darkness. The previous save file will be load' message after the main screen, but the game saves and loads just right (I mean, the message appears, but the save file work):1.
Grab all your roms and follow.2. Grab the patched roms created at step 1 and put them on my injector. My injector will say that the roms are not in the database, because we have modified them at step 1. Attention: when injecting R/S/E, CHECK RTC option at step 1.3. Fill all the steps.
Game name, publisher, create the icon and banner that you want.4. In step 4 of the injector, generate a random Product code and a random Title ID.
Make sure the Title ID don't match with an eshop one (use 3dsdb to do that). Set Ghosting Adjustment to 0xFF (None), Color Config to Original (no dark filter) and check Sleep patch.5. Export the CIAs and install them. They should work as mines does.About the boot time, idk how it's done, but I heard the 3DS copy the rom to an internal partition every time you boot the CIA, but I guess it don't copy it if the game it's already there (aka, the last one gba game played). So does the sleep patch actually do anything? I mean i never used it, and not sure what it should do. The GBA VC just says that sleep function doesn't pause the game but still turn off screen to save battery, and the games that have sleep like metroid games, it just turns the screen off as if closing the system.Anyway, if pokemon games have a fix that is nice, guess i was wrong, too bad there isn't some auto patcher, but then again i doubt would need to make one since is just only pokemon games, but if other games had issues like this? Boktai games uses Realtime clock, and other possible common traits. Of course with the rom hack patch to control the sensor bar for sunlight, is no problem but the clock and save might be issue, though i never tried that inject. I think the pokemon and boktai games are the only ones that use real time clock right?

Click to expand. With this sleep patch, if you press L+R+START, the game will go to sleep (and the blue led in the 3ds will blink, just like it does when you close the lid on a normal 3ds game) and then you can close the lid. Then, to wake the game up again, you just open the lid.The game WON'T go to sleep by just closing the lid, you need to press L+R+START to trigger the sleep.
Then closing the lid is just an esthetic thing.I don't know what's the situation with Boktai games. Maybe the same tutorial works with those? I just tried with squirrel's rom, and found the first occurrence of the value D0 88 8D 83 42 (look at offset 0x1DED59). Did you search using Hex option instead of string option? Try without the spaces. Hey,I noticed that there were already issue posts about the 128K flash saves. Right now I'm trying to play the Pokemon Ultra Violet (hack rom) but I'm unable to save the game (save states work fine). In one of the issues the solution was as follows 'What you'd want to do is add an entry for this game to the core (assuming it has its own unique ID you can reference) like so '. Proceeded by a link that does not work anymore. Can someone help me with explaining this solution to me? What does he exactly mean by core and where can I find that rom ID?
